Working as a key member of the Operations team and reporting directly to Company Directors.
Duties:
1. Co-ordinate between departments on the day-to-day operations of the business
2. Identify and project manage internal improvement projects
3. Oversee the resourcing of direct / sub-contract labour
4. Monitor staff and department performance on an ongoing basis
5. Training & Development – Training needs analysis and requirements
6. Communication & Reporting – to ensure the flow of accurate information across the department at all levels
7. Ensure that operational standards are continually met, across all operational activities and functions
8. Promote and encourage a health and safety-focused working environment
Essential Criteria:
9. At least 5 years’ experience in an Operations Management position, leading multi-functional teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment to achieve or exceed, organisational KPI’s
10. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with delegation and coordination of work
11. Excellent IT skills
12. Proven ability to manage and motivate an ever-expanding team
13. Self-motivated with strong leadership skills and ability to prioritise/delegate activities
14. Experience in managing people in a fast-paced commercial environment
Desirable Criteria:
15. The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level in Business Administration, Engineering Management or proven experience in a similar role
16. Experience within a Facilities or Waste Management environment
17. Prior experience to design, build and start up phases of mid/large scale projects
