Configuration, Change and Data Manager
Location: Harlow/hybrid working
About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity to lead Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) on a project developing a new service.
You will get the opportunity to develop breadth and depth in configuration management, change management data management and knowledge management.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, building relationships with colleagues in the project team, customers, and peers in other projects.
We are looking for an additional Configuration, Change and Data Lead, who will work closely with a small project team, to ensuring all of the project documentation is under control and available at the right version to the people who need it.
Key Duties
1. Leading the data management for the project
2. Supporting Change Management
3. Supporting Release and Deployment Management for documents
4. Helping the team find the information and data they need about products and changes
5. Ensuring the project team have the right access and permissions to CM and DM tools
Opportunities to
6. Get involved with planning and estimating CM work
7. Get involved with process improvement
8. Get involved with training and mentoring
Knowledge and Experience Required for the Role:
9. Experience providing data management and change control on a project is required
10. Familiarity with Defence Hardware, Software or Services development projects is advantageous
11. Knowledge of hardware, software, products or documents
