About the Role
Nottingham City Council have an exciting opportunity for a talented self-starter to design and implement the Council's Waste Reduction and Recycling engagement programme for residents and businesses.
Your focus will be on promoting correct bin use by residents, improving the rate and quality of recycling presented for collection by all householders by reducing contamination in bins, and tackling waste minimisation. Working with our diverse communities, workplace, education settings and businesses across the city, you will lead on engagement strategies, promotional campaigns and delivery of behavioural change programmes.
You will consult with in-house service providers and external contractors to improve service accessibility, quality and performance in relation to recycling and waste minimisation, capturing campaign metrics and reporting these back to stakeholders.
You will have customer-facing, multichannel experience working across radio, print, digital, and social media. Being creative, solutions-focussed, and motivated, you must be able to set your own priorities and deliver these within tight timescales and budgets.
Working hours will require someone who is flexible and able to engage with residents outside of core office hours.
About You

2. Ability to develop and deliver innovative engagement with communities and businesses
3. Experience of the design of online and offline communication tools and resources to effectively engage with citizens and businesses
