Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract role based in the Midlands. This role involves managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors on heavy civil projects, with a preference for candidates with water industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the management of 2-3 small live sites across the Midlands
Coordinating and managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors
Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets
Managing client relationships and ensuring excellent client satisfaction
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
Preparing and presenting project reports to stakeholders
Applying broad knowledge of NEC Contracts to manage contractual obligations
Job Requirements:
Heavy civils experience is mandatory
Experience in the water sector is preferred
Strong ability in programming and planning
Proficiency in the use of NEC Contracts
Excellent client management skills
Ability to work effectively with both direct teams and sub-contractors
Competence in overseeing multiple site operations simultaneously
