About Our Client
Our client is a globally renowned entity within the Retail sector. They are widely recognised for their commitment to excellence, customer focus, and innovative approach.
Job Description
* Responsibility month-end close process, ensuring accounts are reconciled, reviewed and comply with SOX requirements.
* Co-ordinate inputs from the record to report team and other sub-teams in GBS finance and market finance teams.
* Ensure excellence in day to day financial operations including the monthly sales close process, monthly journal entry, intercompany submission, company owned restaurant accounting, sales, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee monthly submissions to our US parent (sales, trial balance, income statement) and quarterly balance sheet and cashflow submissions, ensuring compliance with Global accounting policies and deadlines.
* The Interim Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Financial Operations and Reporting Manager to ensure efficient internal and external audit processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Reporting Manager should have:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, operational excellence, and financial management practices.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse complex financial data to drive informed decisions.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives effectively.
