We have exciting opportunities an Assistant Service Manager to join our team in our Omagh Supported Living Service.
You will generally be working Monday to Friday 9-5pm but you may be required to help out in the service occasionally on an evening or weekend.
In addition to undertaking managerial tasks you will also work alongside support workers and act as a role model, demonstrating good practice to other members of the team.
You must have experience working in the care sector with people with learning disability/autism and/or behaviours that challenge. You will be supported by specialist bespoke training in advance to fully meet the needs of the people we support.
This role will include:
- Supporting and developing the staff team to provide the best service.
- Supporting the team to be compliant in their induction and training.
- Undertaking effective supervisions for team members.
- Review support plans and risk assessments, attend reviews, liaise with professionals and family.
- Use electronic systems and recording.
You should be competent in using IT and have a full UK driver’s licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative forms of transport, should the applicant be unable to meet this criteria due to a disability.
Candidates that hold, are working towards or willing to complete Health and Care QCF Level 3 is a shortlisting criteria that may be used if there is a high volume of applications.
