Meet our service user
Our service user is a toddler who lives with her family in Wolverhampton.
We’re looking for interactive and engaging Healthcare Assistant to join her team, providing care throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.
She loves to play and explore various sensory activities as well as enjoys listening to nursery rhymes and watching her favourite cartoons Mr Tumble and Teletubbies.
She is full of energy and curiosity, and we are looking for a care team to provide attentive and specialised care to ensure her well-being and development.
Upon arrival to her home on a night shift, she will already be settled down for bed and often has a restful night’s sleep with minimal interruptions. Overnight, you will offer comfort and reassurance when needed, as well as promoting a restful environment. You will tend to her clinical interventions and ensure that her needs are met in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:
4. 3 months previous care experience
5. Medication Administration
6. Personal Care
7. Moving and Handling
8. Tracheostomy Care
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
9. Ventilation Management
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available
10. Part Time
11. Nights: 8pm – 7am (Mon – Sun)
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£148.50 approx. per 11-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (£154 approx. per 11-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£176 approx. per 11-hour shift)
