Role: The Head of Security Architecture is a newly created role reporting directly into the CTO. Collaborating closely with CTO, CIO and CISO the role will be accountable for shaping the Security Patterns, Architecture and building blocks during a pivotal time of change as the business transitions to modern cloud-first tech environments. The Security Architecture team are responsible for protecting the system assets and people by developing an integration enterprise Security Architecture. This role will suit Security Architects that are looking for their next big opportunity. We're not looking for theoretical backgrounds, we need people that have practically led, implemented and built Security Architecture for recognised brands. Here is what you'll be doing day to day: Supporting a high-profile organisation in ensuring a modern, forward-thinking Enterprise and Security Solution Architecture - working very closely with CISO function Utilising knowledge around an evolving cyber threat landscape and attack vectors Working with stakeholders to model risk appetite and how to translate this into Security Architecture Design, set, build and implement practical enabling Security Architecture Work closely with stakeholders and government agencies to enhance Security Ensuring Security Architecture resource delivers against a complex threat landscape Build capability to ensure Cloud Applications, environments and complex integrations are secure Key experience required: Proven experience in building and implementing comprehensive Security Architecture for a recognised brand Background working closely with Security teams to ensure correct governance and guardrails are in place Strong experience across Cloud Security, and Integration Depth and experience of enterprise technologies, and risk associated Beneficial: SABSA, or similar Experience working within regulated sectors This role can be based anywhere in the UK and will come with a high degree of work life balance, but travel will be expected when needed.
