School Premises Manager / Facilities Maintenance Caretaker, who has experience in a facilities management or similar role, good management and leadership skills and a NEBOSH / IOSH or similar health and safety certification, is required for a Schools Trust, based in Stanmore, North West London.
This role is known internally as a Senior Premises Officer.
SALARY: £27,113 - £28,013 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Stanmore, North West London (HA7)

As the School Premises Manager / Facilities Maintenance Caretaker, you will oversee maintenance, supervise cleaning staff and contractors, manage budgets and support capital projects, working closely with the School Principal and Business Support Manager in maintaining compliance, enhancing facilities, and ensuring the school’s operational excellence.

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Manage the daily operation and maintenance of the school's facilities, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
* Provide training and support to other staff members, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their work.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans under the guidance of the Area Site Manager, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Support capital projects, working with the Area Site Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that facilities are upgraded and improved as necessary.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in a facilities management or similar role.
* Experience managing a team, including cleaners and caretakers.
* Flexibility – prepared to work outside normal working hours on occasions.
* NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate in Environmental management, Legionella Prevention, Fire Marshall, Safeguarding Training, Working at Heights, Risk Assessor, PAT testing etc.
