Job Title: After Sales Manager (Full Time)
Location: JT Hughes Telford, Stafford Park 1, Telford, TF1 3BD
Reporting To: Group Aftersales Manager/Telford General Manager
Job Purpose: As Aftersales Manager at JT Hughes Telford, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage the service department to achieve dealership revenue, utilization and profit targets. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
People
* Motivate, train and guide service department associates to meet objectives and targets.
* Maintain a strong understanding of manufacturer learning and development opportunities.
* Maintain positive communication with all dealership departments and manufacturers.
* Ensure that associates adhere to Hyundai, Honda, INEOS and Mitsubishi operating standards.
* Fulfil additional tasks and responsibilities directed by the Group Aftersales Manager/General Manager.
Process
* Manage profitability, service department organisation and customer satisfaction.
* Assist in developing the service department budget.
* Accurately report all aspects of the service department's performance.
* Monitor profit and loss, sales performance, operating controls and composite figures.
* Oversee workshop and loading, estimating, invoicing and compliance with dealership policy.
* Manage warranty claim submissions, credit account applications, and account settlements.
* Plan and organise and promote service department marketing initiatives.
* Deliver a superior service experience, maximising parts and labour sales to retail and trade customers.
* Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through a robust follow-up system.
* Ensure correct usage of the company dealer management system.
* Establish and manage quality control processes and inventory management.
Premises
* Maintain a professional appearance for service department associates.
* Ensure customer-facing areas are in compliance with dealership policy and manufacturer standards.
* Uphold a safe working environment by complying with statutory legislation and health & safety policies.
* Ensure tools and equipment in the service department are well-maintained in accordance with company policies and legislation.
Skills required:
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile.
* Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
* Team player with a full UK Driving Licence.
* Must have at least 3 years motor industry experience in a similar role.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 08:00am – 5:30pm – 1 Hour Lunch Break
Saturdays: 08:30am -12:30pm on a rota basis

* Competitive salary of £40,000.00 per annum, with a performance bonus potential, OTE £48,000.
