As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of the Talent Management Team (within the HR Department). You’ll play a key role in identifying and engaging top talent alongside the TA and HR Business Partner, ensuring a seamless hiring process, and supporting new hires as they transition into their roles. Supporting the team scheduling interview interviews and sending feedback to candidates. Keep applicant tracking systems (ATS) updated with accurate candidate information. Assist in background checks, reference checks, and offer coordination. Talent Sourcing & Outreach Proactively source and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels. Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles and future hiring needs. Conduct initial outreach and screening to assess candidate fit based on role requirements. Screening & Selection Support Review resumes and applications, shortlisting top candidates. Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and culture fit. Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring teams, ensuring a smooth process. Candidate Experience & Communication Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide feedback and updates to candidates to keep them engaged. Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, whether successful or not. Market Research & Talent Insights Stay updated on industry hiring trends, competitor strategies, and sourcing best practices. Provide insights on talent availability and salary expectations. Onboarding Support Facilitate a smooth transition from candidate to new hire by coordinating preboarding tasks. Work with HR and hiring managers to prepare onboarding materials and schedules. Assist new hires with paperwork, system access, and first-day logistics. Check in with new hires to ensure a great onboarding experience Collaboration & Process Improvement Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align on hiring needs. Identify opportunities to streamline sourcing and selection processes. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by sourcing diverse talent. Personal Specification 2-3 years of experience in Internal recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition. Essential internal talent experience within the automotive industry. Strong ability to source passive candidates using LinkedIn and other platforms. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and administrative abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools is a plus.
