If so, we have the perfect role for you! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Reception Teacher to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Planning and Delivery: Design and implement a rich, varied, and imaginative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
2. Learning Environment: Create a vibrant, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
3. Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children's development, using this information to inform planning and ensure each child reaches their full potential.
4. Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to the development of the nursery, and ensure a consistent approach across all settings.
6. Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest EYFS research and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years qualification.
8. Experience: Proven experience working within the EYFS framework, with a strong understanding of child development.
9. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
