The Role
Fife Group have an exciting opportunity for either an experienced/qualified Training Instructor or someone who wishes to start an exciting career as a Training Instructor within the Fife area to support our busy training centre and deliver first-class training to our customers.
The role involves coordinating, administering, and delivering the Mechanical Handling Equipment training in line with the company’s objectives and complies with the MHE and Health and Safety regulations.
The successful candidate will be expected to refresh, assess, and novice train Counterbalance forklift with full training provided for novice applicants.
The Successful Applicant Will Also Be Trained Over a Period Of Time To Deliver The Following Training Programmes To a High Standard:
* Pivot steer-bendi/flexi (P1)
* Counterbalance forklift (B1-B2)
* Side loader (C1)
* Multi-direction lift truck (M1-M2-M3)
* Rough Terrain masted/Telescopic Lift Truck (J1-J2-J4)
* Electric pallet truck (A1-A8)
* Reach truck (D1-D2-D3)
* First Aid
* Manual Handling
* Abrasive Wheel
About You
You should possess the following:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with a wide variety of people e.g. staff, clients, delegates.
* You will be approachable and passionate about improving skills and safety, whilst being highly organised.
* You will be a conscientious individual interested in progressing with your personal development (as progression opportunities in this role are available).
* A full UK driving license holder (this is essential for this role).
* You will have a proficient working knowledge of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* You will require a minimum of 2 years forklift certification.
If you do not already hold a valid Instructor/Examiner certificate, we still want to hear from you; this is not an essential element of the role as full training will be given.
