Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the appointment of a Process Technician based in South-East London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving operating performance of commercial and industrial facilities in line with safety and company proceedures across a power plant.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring, inspecting and controlling plant parameters
* Provide approprate first line defect repair
* Interpre plant operations and control these through the plant DCS.
* Provide plany start up and shutdown services and participate in emergency shutdown proceedures.
* Follow targets and direction ensuring SHEQ compliant operations and maintenance.
* Suggest ideas and recommendations to continually improve operations
Requirements:
* Time served apprenticeship (NVQ 3) in an engineering or process discipline
* Shift pattern work experience
* Experienced ontributing to continuous process/production environments.
* Experiened in fault finding, route cause analysis, problem solving, first line defect repair and data monitoring.
* Follow procdures, systems and processses.
* Safe System of Work processes & procedures: Permit to work: risk assessments & method statements.

Shift pattern inlcudive of days & nights - 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 12 off.
