An opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Planning and Information Manager to work as an instrumental member of our HR Services Leadership team. The role reports directly to the Head of HR Services and has responsibility for the leadership of a number of key personnel who manage, resource and maintain the Constabulary's Operating Model and the capacity and capability levels within it. The role will work closely with other managers within the department as well as Heads of Departments across the Constabulary.
The successful candidate will need to have proven experience of working with Senior Leaders in the development of an annual Strategic Workforce Plan which identifies and forecasts workforce requirements to deliver the Forces strategic objectives as set out in the Constabulary's and Police & Crime Commissioner's Plan.
You will need to be comfortable with analysing data with the confidence to make recommendations to senior leaders across the Constabulary, using data, trends and insights to help them in their decision making about their structures and people. You will be given scope to innovate seeking out ways to develop systems and tools that enable leaders to align their future capacity and capability.
To succeed in this role you will be a pro-active, experienced and credible professional with the resilience to provide Strategic Workforce Planning advice and guidance in an evolving and challenging environment. As well as strong communications skills, you will be have the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation and be able to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
