As a Senior Client Advisor in our Old Bond Street boutique and Club 1755, you will serve as a key ambassador of Vacheron Constantin, embodying our values of excellence, curiosity, humility and delivering an exceptional personalized experience to our clients. This role is a fantastic opportunity to operate in a dual retail environment (street boutique and lounge), unlocking “unreasonable hospitality” opportunities.
With a strong focus on developing new business opportunities, you will lead by example in client long-term relationship-building, external networking, and sales excellence. This role requires proactive engagement within the Mayfair luxury community, with a responsibility for nurturing existing client portfolios while recruiting new, high-value clients and turning them into “One Of Not Many” ambassadors.
You will support the boutique team by sharing best practices, coaching colleagues when needed, and contributing to the boutique’s overall success.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Develop Client Relationship
1. Manage and grow strategically a high-value client portfolio.
2. Deliver an exceptional experience and unique in-store journey to our clients by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service through each touchpoint.
3. Proactively identify and approach potential new clients, both within and beyond the boutique environment (networking).
4. Partner with Boutique/Market management to actively represent the Maison in the Mayfair area, building strong relationships within the local luxury, art, and lifestyle community.
5. Consistently and accurately capture client data for follow-up and relationship building, effectively utilizing the tools that are available and exploring any follow-up opportunities.
Consistently achieve and ideally exceed the sales target, always following retail guidelines and respecting team spirit.
1. Master the key moments of the sales ceremony.
2. Ask the right questions to engage customers to talk, listen to their needs and get the right information to make the sale, ensuring they come back to the boutique.
3. Handle negotiations and objections with ease.
4. Assist and support after-sales clients in accordance with Maison values. Act as a referent and offer recommendations that will provide an exceptional client experience.
5. Remain knowledgeable on industry news and competitors.
6. Communicate with passion about the Maison, demonstrating an extensive knowledge of values, codes and history, and a strong capacity to tell a story that will resonate with the customer.
7. Offer a detailed description of the Maison pieces/collection (including construction, materials, care and design) to reinforce the Maison uniqueness.
8. Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the Maison collections in order to promote the uniqueness of our garde-temps and adapt the approach to the customer.
Deliver daily boutique operations to the highest standards.
1. Understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures of the Group, Maison and boutique.
2. Assist with daily set-up and breakdown of the boutique and Club, and communicate on any maintenance issues.
3. Assist in the merchandising and daily maintenance of displays and back-stock.
4. Actively participate in daily and annual inventories and cycle counts to prepare and ensure a successful audit.
5. Manage complex after-sales cases, ensuring timely communication, resolution, and client satisfaction; identify opportunities to convert service interactions into future sales.
6. Assist with special projects, as needed (i.e. price changes, supporting back office responsibilities, etc.).
7. Ability to become a reference for new joiners on tools and processes.
Requirements
You are motivated by:
1. Proactively recruiting clients and building lasting relationships beyond the boutique.
2. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with UHNW clients.
3. Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in luxury retail sales, client development, and networking within the Bond Street / Mayfair environment.
You are:
1. Fluent in English; additional languages are highly desirable.
2. Results-driven, with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
3. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
4. Impeccable grooming and presentation standards aligned with the luxury industry.
5. Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential); knowledge of SAP or CRM systems is an advantage.
