We're looking for someone who can be a part of our mission to deliver a front-line catering service that supports pupils with their life skills and the preparation of healthy and nutritious food.
Salary: £11,705 to £11,888 per annum (pro rata for part time and calculated to term time only)
Working Pattern: Part time (21.25 hours per week) Monday to Friday 09:30am to 2:15pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks plus 5 cleaning days - no inset days)
Location: St Anthony's Special School, Woodlands Ln, Chichester PO19 5PA

This exciting opportunity will require you to support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and cleaning to the required standards, ensuring hygiene and safety measures are maintained.
Your role as a Catering Assistant goes beyond just cooking. You will also play a vital role in fostering a positive dining experience for students. From creating a welcoming atmosphere to providing exceptional customer service, your friendly and approachable nature will ensure that students feel valued and cared for during meal times.
As an essential member of the Catering Team, you will thrive in a busy environment, be adaptable and flexible and will support colleagues to maintain high professional standards. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
