Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Leadership: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including developing procurement strategies, sourcing suppliers, and overseeing tendering and contract negotiations.
2. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies to drive down Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without compromising on quality.
3. Supplier Evaluation: Analyze supplier bids and subcontractor proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements, budget, and quality standards.
4. Contract Management: Conduct thorough negotiations with suppliers, collaborating with the Project Manager and main office teams to ensure contracts are reviewed, approved, and finalized in a timely manner.
5. Material Assessment: Work closely with the Technical Office to explore new material alternatives, verifying their suitability and compliance with project specifications.
6. Delivery Coordination: Oversee the ordering and timely delivery of materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and arrive in alignment with the construction schedule.
7. Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with the Head Office Procurement Department to manage logistics, import processes, and ensure smooth and efficient material flow to the site.
