We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at our Office in Newcastle. The Role As an Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of work packages, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, within budget, on time, and to client specifications. You will lead a team of project engineers, delivering exciting Mechanical projects in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Lead site-based teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing. Ensure all work is completed to high standards, complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice. Establish and manage financial targets, providing regular financial updates to the Commercial Manager. Oversee tendering processes for additional project works, adapting to client needs. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering future opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing customer base. Offer technical support to both clients and site teams by leveraging resources from central departments, specialist suppliers, and subcontractors. Provide necessary training and support to enhance team performance and contribute to the business unit's overall success. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in M&E Project Management, with strong technical expertise in Mechanical systems. Ideally qualified to at least HNC level in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline. It would be great if you have experience working on M&E contracts with values upwards of £1M. Proficient in managing complex commercial, design, financial, and project elements of multi-disciplinary contracts. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Highly self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
