We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Technician to join a leading automotive client based in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and ensure the smooth running of facilities operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including re-lamping, ceiling repairs, and wall & door/joinery repairs.
* Manage carpet and flooring repairs, tiling, and plumbing tasks as required.
* Assist with helpdesk tasks, ensuring quick response times and resolution of maintenance requests.
* Oversee furniture churn and configure meeting room layouts.
* Support general repairs and housekeeping activities to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a facilities maintenance role, ideally within an automotive or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of general repairs, including plumbing, tiling, and joinery.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to ad-hoc requests efficiently.
* Proactive and hands-on approach to facilities management.
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
