Managing relationships within Film Production, Events, Utilities and Construction A leading supplier of temporary access solutions, offering high-quality trackway and ground protection products to the construction, events, film and utilities sectors. With a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence, we are now looking for a dynamic and driven Hire and Sales Manager to join our leadership team and drive commercial growth. This is a key leadership role within the business, responsible for managing and growing the business. The successful candidate will lead all commercial sales and hire activities, drive customer acquisition, and strengthen relationships with existing clients. You will also be responsible for managing a Sales Executive as part of your team from day one. Key Responsibilities · Take full ownership of the company’s commercial strategy across hire and sales operations. · Take control of the Hire desk. · Ensuring all clients are contacted on a regular basis. · Manage and grow the current client base, ensuring outstanding customer service and repeat business. · Work with Office Admin/Logistics team to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. · Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industry sectors (construction, infrastructure, events, film etc.). · Work closely with the Sales Executive to support business development and account management. · Develop and deliver commercial targets in line with company objectives. · Work closely with operations and marketing to align customer acquisition with product availability and brand messaging. · Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance. · Attend trade shows, exhibitions and site visits to build brand presence and client relationships. Key Skills & Experience · Proven track record in B2B sales in a sales office environment · Experience managing accounts and driving new business. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train and manage a small team. · Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. · Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and commercial acumen. · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
