We are hiring a Regional Operations Manager to oversees the operational efficiency, client service, and overall performance of vending machine services within a designated geographical region. This role involves managing a front line team, coordinating machine maintenance, ensuring product availability, and maintaining client satisfaction. The position requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and client relationship management. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering growth and driving revenue through your Area Service Leader’s whilst focusing on business performance, excellence in execution and being proactive Reviewing data and implementing proactive solutions to promote Client & team excellence Responsible for delivering growth, driving revenue, managing all employees within your depot, exceeding your revenue targets Lead your teams to maximise sales, deliver great client service and thus minimise complaints Constantly be in touch with daily KPIs including call compliance, high low fills, intervening and making changes to smooth service for our clients Embrace, own and be a stakeholder for all new project initiatives ensuring they are a success alongside managing the delivery of targeted savings (headcount, overtime, fleet etc) Introduce successful resolutions and carrying out customer visits ensuring our customers are fully satisfied. Develop initiatives to improve the customer experience Manage your team, supporting them in terms of all day to day issues, maintain morale and ensure we focus on introducing improvement, finding solutions and that they take ownership Manage all more serious or complex senior employee matters including disciplinaries, cash and stock loss investigations and payroll submissions and overtime management Provide strong development and coaching support for your teams, ensuring monthly 121s, six monthly and year reviews to offer career paths for your teams and ensuring you offer recognise those performing strongly Focus on ensuring monthly proposal checking and final interface for regional invoicing to ensure is always correct, managed online and results in minimal queries from our clients. Have oversight and ensure compliance of all Health and Safety elements including maintenance Vehicle Compliance Processes and checks Holiday management for all team members Arranging absence cover, undertaking return to work meetings Liaising with HR to maximise your team’s performance Requirements Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within the vending, retail, or FMCG industry. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing field-based teams. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or service delivery is advantageous. Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of P&L, budgets, and cost control. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements. Problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to operational challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Benefits Up to 25 days’ holiday per annum.
