Grade : 2A, SCP 7 - 9 Hours : Up to 36 hours per week term time only, Monday to Friday Permanent appointment We are seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to work in the busy Business Support office within The Clifton Centre PRU. The Clifton Centre is a Key Stage 4 Pupil Referral Unit. All pupils have been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are at risk of such. You will need to be able to remain calm and positive in quite challenging circumstances and be able to relate well to students and adults. The successful candidate will be flexible, organised, reliable, enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a team. You will provide a range of administrative and finance support to the Head of Centre and School Business Manager, under the direction of the School Business Manager. Your areas of responsibility will include Finance, Facilities Management, Health and Safety and elements of HR however you will also be expected to undertake a variety of general administration duties in support of the activities of the school including working in a busy reception: welcoming visitors to the school, taking phone calls and messages and responding to telephone, email and face to face enquiries from parents, staff, pupils and visitors Knowledge of SIMs management system is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be provided with support through the school s induction programme and training as required.
