We are looking for a Head Code Governance Reform to join us and play a critical role in leading the charge to implement these reforms. Ofgem is Great Britain's independent energy regulator. We are looking for an experienced policy professional withthe insight, experience, and skills to lead on the policy development and implementation of this major programme. You'll need a strong leadership background, excellent policy development and analytical skills, and a proven capacity to influence at senior levels. Experience in policy or service delivery environments, as well as an ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder landscapes, will be essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will be deployed as a Head of Code Governance Reform in the Market Oversight and Enforcement directorate, reporting to the Deputy Director Industry Rules. Longer-term, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly across Ofgem on a range of projects. Person specification Key Responsibilities Planning and delivery of key workstreams including leading and managing the work of the project team. Managing and providing strategic vision to the code governance reform team and working with stakeholders across Ofgem and externally to ensure policy development work is well coordinated to facilitate the delivery Ofgem's strategic priorities and the transition to net-zero. Innovative solutions to address emerging policy issues or challenges in areas of responsibility to ensure effective delivery of policy, evaluating impacts, adapting as necessary while being aware of the wider context of your policy area. Delivering robust decision making, and managing interdependencies risks and resourcing to support timely delivery. Establish collaborative working relationships with colleagues across Ofgem and other relevant external parties building consensus on the approach to change and implementing reforms. Essential Proven aptitude for leadership with demonstrable experience leading diverse and high performing teams [LEAD].
