CALLING SHEET METAL WORKERS.
Come and work for a world leading airline based out of Glasgow Airport as a structures/sheet metal worker and contribute to the maintenance and repair operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Fabricate and repair aircraft structural components using sheet metal.
2. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to perform precise work.
3. Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures.
4. Collaborate with a team of technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
6. Follow maintenance manuals and guidelines for aircraft repair and modification.
Requirements:
1. HFs, EWIS and FTS certificates required but can assist in gaining them.
2. Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
5. Understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
6. Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
