Person specification
Qualifications/training and professional development
Essential criteria
* Human physiology based degree
* BSc(Hons) in cardiac physiology/cardiac science or PTP equivalent
* SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography or equivalent (training will be provided if currently not held)
* SCST Foundation Certificate in Essential ECG Interpretation or equivalent (training will be provided if currently not held)
* RCCP/AHCS registered
Desirable criteria
* Diploma in ECG Interpretation
Experience
Essential criteria
* Competent in performing all cardiac investigations provided by the department
Desirable criteria
* Experience performing cardiac diagnostics post qualification
* Experience in training and assessment of junior staff and other medical professionals
Skills, abilities and knowledge
Essential criteria
* Ability to organize and analyse data with good critical thinking skills
* Good computer skills
* Able to keep up with workload and deliver results in a timely manner
Desirable criteria
* Actively participates in the department training programme
* Knowledge of a wide range of cardiac physiology investigations
