We are seeking a Apprentice Quality Technician to join our quality assurance team. On completion of the training, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing products, components, and materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
After training Key Responsibilities will be:
Inspecting Products:
* Conduct inspections of finished products, raw materials, and in-process items using various measuring tools and techniques to ensure compliance with quality standards
Testing and Measurements:
* Preform mechanical, dimensional, and visual testing using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other testing equipment
Data Collection and Reporting:
* Record test data, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate documentation of findings and deviations from product specifications
Process Monitoring:
* Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
Non-Conformance Management
* Identify and report non-conforming materials or products. Work with the Quality Leader and production team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Continuous Improvement:
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by analysing quality trends and proposing solutions to enhance product quality and reduce defects
Calibration and Maintenance:
* Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment
Quality Audits:
* Assist in internal and external quality audits and provide necessary documentation as required

Your training plan
Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3.
Successful, candidate will follow a structured training plan and gain hands-on experience within our team. Upon successfully passing probation period, candidate would also have the opportunity to attend college from September to further develop skills.
