Job Purpose
To answer calls for a busy private GP practice within a serviced office setting and provide associated administrative tasks.
Hours
Minimum of 12 hours per week (plus holiday cover) 2 days between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday by agreement (flexible hours can be discussed)
£12.30 per hour

Julia Lewis – Manager / Director
Chloë Burton – Deputy Manager
Key Tasks
* Telephone answering for busy GP practice appointments and other related tasks
* Customer facing reception duties
* Financial transactions on behalf of clients
* Sort incoming mail
* Frank outgoing mail
* Photocopying as required
Health & Safety
* To work in accordance with Data Protection legislation
* To work in accordance with Health and Safety and Fire Protection policy
Security
* Follow required procedures regarding confidentiality and security in reception
Sundry Tasks
* Any other tasks appropriate to the position
Experience/Skills Needed
Essential:
* GP / Medical Practice experience
* Previous customer facing reception role
* Previous experience of office duties
* Excellent telephone manner (professional and friendly)
* Ability to multi-task
* Attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and online booking systems
* Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above)
