Leicester City Women Football Club are looking to recruit a Goal Keeping Coach to support the Women’s Academy Pathway until the end of the season.

You will be present at pitch-based training sessions and matches. The role will play a key part of the Women's Academy's coaching department, responsible for the social, technical, tactical, and physical development of all LCFCW Women Academy Goalkeepers. The Goal Keeping Coach will lead on the coaching and preparation of all the Leicester City Women Academy Goalkeepers, creating a culture that maximises the talent of each club player in all aspects of the four-corner model to maximise the quality of team performance and aids transition into the Women's 1st Team.
This role will involve working with under 18 players.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of:
1. Delivering Goalkeeping sessions and formal monitoring and evaluation of Club player performance.
2. Communicating regularly with Management Staff to ensure match day preparations and team selections are in place.
3. Promoting a positive environment for learning and development within the team.
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and knowledge:
1. A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
2. Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across all levels and with players, staff and senior management.
3. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
4. Dedicated to self-improvement and personal development.
5. An ability to inspire and lead individuals.
6. Focused on individual player development.
7. Willing to support and promote the Club and Football Philosophy.
Qualifications:
1. Must hold Level 2 National Goalkeeping course.
2. UEFA C outfield qualification or above coaching qualification.
3. FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Emergency First Aid.

From its formation in 2004, the Club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club. Contract Type: Fixed term until 5th May 2024, part time.
Hours of Work: Monday 3-5PM & 6-8PM, Tuesday 3-5PM & 6-8PM, Friday 3-5PM & 6-8PM, Saturday – 10-12PM.
