Description As a Data Privacy Senior Associate within the CIB Commercial & Investment Banking team, you will be part of a group dedicated to creating business impact through the governance and implementation of privacy requirements. Execute the 1st Line of Defence privacy operating model that adheres to firmwide requirements and drive required results working with the business and privacy teams. Ensure effective execution of privacy and data protection requirements, maintenance of privacy related procedures and adherence to such procedures. Engage in the appropriate Committees and Forums to provide transparency through reporting on risks and issues, controls. Support the Commercial & Investment Bank Privacy team, Privacy Compliance and Privacy Legal contacts and participate in privacy working groups, strategic projects or targeted reviews that require business engagement. Assist the business with the design and execution of controls to address privacy business requirements and mitigate risks, including for example, Data Protection Impact Assessments. Assist the business with preparing for privacy related exams, compliance tests and audits. Provide transparency through accurate reporting and metrics that supports the privacy framework. Assist with the delivery and completion of privacy awareness sessions or additional training and working with key partners to develop business/product specific training and communication to influence behaviours to address current or emerging privacy risks or control deficiencies. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills CIPPE and/or CIPM privacy accreditation with experience working in a privacy function. Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups. Experience in influencing and implementing change. Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams. Self-starter with problem solving skills and able to work with a high degree of independence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with business as well as technical stakeholders. Exceptional presentation and influencing skills to facilitate presentations and discussions with business and functional leaders. Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint ect.
