We are working with a Public Sector organisation based in Teesside to recruit a HR Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is a 12-month contract supporting generalist HR duties.
Salary up to £28,000.
Reporting to and working alongside the HR Manager, you will be key in providing generalist HR operational support across all business areas.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Providing advice and support to line managers regarding policies and complex casework issues.
2. Supporting line managers with advice on absence management and employee relations.
3. Managing onboarding, contracts, and transactional paperwork.
4. Supporting recruitment activities, including posting adverts and handling general administration.
5. Performing generalist HR duties as required.
6. Enrolling employees into the pension scheme.
