Main duties of the job As one of our Vaccination & Immunisation/Health Protection Nurses you will undertake vaccinations and testing interventions in a wide variety of locations across the Health Board and including as a lone worker when required. Such settings will include all key health and Social Care sites; community vaccination and testing centres; a wide range of Primary Care and community clinic locations as well as Care Homes. We also offer a service to our housebound patients and clients. Our programmes of work will target all population ages from our very youngest citizens right through to the young at heart. The overseeing of population health checks, ensuring patients are signposted according to local pathways, along with duties aligned with the work of the overarching Health Protection function are all important elements of the role.
