The Role Your role is to lead the Food & Beverage Team to deliver a consistently outstanding guest experience in some of our most iconic and remote properties: Lundies House, Kinloch Lodge, Kyle House, and the upcoming Hope Project and wider estate. This is a new role joining an evolving team as we work towards the opening of Hope – our stunning new venue in Sutherland. Located in one of the most stunning and wild areas of Scotland, Sutherland offers a unique set of challenges and opportunities. Your role will focus not only on achieving operational success but also on cultivating a culture of sustainable growth by consistently delivering an exceptional guest experience, through an inspired and motivated Operations Team. Key Responsibilities Be a role model for WildLand Leadership and foster a culture for high performing teams. Ensure an environment for continuous learning and development. Promote team health, safety and wellbeing whilst at work and within the local social environment. In particular, drive the HSE strategy and policies throughout operations. Ensure the translation of and alignment with WildLand’s overarching strategy, which includes sustainable growth, environmental responsibility, and financial sustainability. Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage team Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and profitability. Manage and train staff to ensure high standards of service. Monitor and control inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources. Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus and plan events. Handle customer complaints and provide solutions to ensure a positive dining experience. Prepare and manage budgets, analyse financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures. Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts. Ensure a consistent high standard of an integrated guest experience which includes our conservation, build and heritage stories and ethos. Who you are Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and management.
