Summary
The jobholder is responsible for producing designs, quotes and spec breaks for projects from markets across Purmo Group. They are expected to develop expertise and knowledge on industry software packages, as well as an understanding of how Purmo Group’s portfolio of products are incorporated into designs.
Wage
£18,540 a year
Starting salary will be £18,540 and will be reviewed after 12 months depending on progress and age (if over 21 and National Minimum Wage applies).

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
* Manage the entire design process from start to finish; this includes revisions of quotes and spec breaks and making sure everything is fully documented and reported in line with GDPR and Purmo Group requirements
* Produce designs that meet the current building guidelines & regulations
* Coordinate with customers to understand complex requirements and translate these into clear and actionable tasks
* Ensure that all communication sent out meets brand guidelines and is consistent with other marketing materials
* Ensure that all work completed is to the highest standard and meets customer specifications
* Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders and ensure that projects are completed and delivered on time
* Provide design & product support to both internal and external customers
* Provide ad hoc support for both the Design & Project Manager and department Team Leaders as required

* Identify and assess factors that affect designs such as materials, application, location, risk and environment.

* Propose and evaluate ideas for sustainable engineering concepts to solve engineering challenges.
* Develop solutions that can be manufactured or built, and proven, operated and maintained during their operational life and decommissioned or recycled at the end of their operational life.
