Catering Services Manager (Responsible to: Senior Catering Services Manager) with 2 years of experience to work in a hospital in the Sutton area.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Including Weekends, Duty Management Shifts & Evenings)
Requirements:
1. ENHANCED DBS is needed - we can process one for you in our office.
2. Food Hygiene Level 3 (online application)
3. MUST HAVE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK (NO VISA OR SPONSORSHIP PROVIDED)
Job Summary:
To provide the highest level of catering service possible for patients, visitors, and staff, commensurate with financial considerations. Ensuring that food for staff, patients, and visitors is of the highest possible standard in the Restaurant, NHS Wards, and Private Wards, in line with financial constraints. To ensure that perishable and non-perishable items are ordered, received, stored, and dispatched in accordance with the store's operational procedures, time constraints, and department needs. To ensure “Best Value” is achieved at all times in line with Trust and NHS financial guidelines. To liaise with the Head Chef/Catering Team ensuring that the correct procedures are being followed regarding decanting and issue of stock. To co-ordinate all management aspects of catering, as directed by the Senior Catering Services Manager/Head of Catering.
