This role will focus on: This is a key role in further driving Quality improvement throughout the business As a Senior Quality Engineer with Watson Marlow you will be working as part of the Quality Engineering team, and collaborating with the wider business to ensure Quality is embedded in new and existing processes and using data to drive continuous improvement. This role will provide the opportunity to use your skills in a wide range of manufacturing processes where you will be to positively affect change, whilst supporting members of the Quality team and other departments with your experience, knowledge and passion for Quality. What You’ll Be Doing You will support the non-conformance process, facilitate/lead investigations including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action implementation. You will collaborate with suppliers for PPAP (Product/Process Validation) Initiate and manage supplier corrective action requests. You will support customer requests, complaints and audits. Support design change activities including risk management, verification and validation You will support other quality team members and departments in the use of Quality tools to drive best practice. You will work with our engineering and supply teams on the delivery of new tooling projects You will support change control actions and projects You will use data to drive quality improvements Support/lead audit program (internal, supplier and 3rd party) Support the Operational Excellence Framework Quality requirements. Who You’ll Be Working With You will be collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business, from production through to supply chain and design functions, as well as suppliers and customers through onsite audits.
