About the Role:
As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the warehouse functions, ensuring operations run smoothly while driving productivity and profitability. This is a key leadership role where you will play a critical part in logistics planning, team motivation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure seamless execution.
* Plan and manage logistics, including setting and reporting on targets.
* Lead, motivate, and manage the warehouse team to meet and exceed expectations.
* Monitor operational expenditure and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
* Train and develop warehouse personnel to ISO9001 standards.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety within the branch.
* Drive quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse productivity and profitability.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

About You:
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management, ideally within the Wholesale & Distribution or a similar sector. You will be commercially aware, proactive, and confident in your ability to lead under pressure. Strong business acumen, decision-making skills, and a passion for operational excellence are essential.
