The vacancy
Hours: 12 hours per week
Shift Pattern: fortnightly pattern of alternate weekend and two week days.
We are currently looking to recruit a Chef to join our team at Pine Court (Wolverhampton).
Within the role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals and light refreshments, ensuring that a varied and balanced diet is provided for all residents and that a provision is made for individual's medical, cultural, dietary, and personal requirements.
You will ensure that the service is provided in a hygienic, efficient, and economical manner, as well as take responsibility for ordering for the kitchen.

What we’re looking for:
The essential requirements for the role include:
* An understanding of varied diets, such as multi-cultural, diabetic, vegetarian, and low fat (desirable)
* An understanding of different cleaning materials and their suitability to identified tasks (desirable)
* Experience of working in a kitchen
* Basic food hygiene
* Willing to participate in training
