This award-winning manufacturer, with operations across Europe and an expanding customer base, has recently invested in new state-of-the-art machinery at its South Wales facility. Following this investment, they are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established maintenance team. The company offers internal and external training courses on specific manufacturing equipment, providing opportunities for career development. They are expanding the maintenance team by adding two engineers per shift due to significant growth and investment.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Work in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
* Fault finding and maintenance support of automated production lines.
* Lead all preventative maintenance activities.
* Act as the technical specialist on site.
* Manage capital expenditure activities.
* Perform PPM and breakdown assistance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* HNC Level or equivalent (Apprenticeship)
* Mechanical-biased maintenance engineer
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* PLC experience is a bonus
* Experience in a high-volume, fast-moving environment is desirable but not essential
