We are seeking a dedicated individual to join a supportive secondary school team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and managing challenging behaviour in a positive and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met. * Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. * Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated learning support. * Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and accessible lessons. * Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to develop confidence and independence. * Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where necessary. * Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued. Requirements: * Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience in a similar role). * Previous experience working with secondary school students, particularly those with SEN and behavioural needs. * Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. * A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young people. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
