We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to provide technical and functional support for cross-department users of 3rd-party loan origination and servicing applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and performance of these systems, contributing to seamless business operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to address user needs, perform testing on new functionality, and recommend system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to 3rd-party loan origination and servicing applications.
* Provide timely technical support to cross-departmental users, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.
* Document issues, resolutions, and best practices to build a knowledge base for ongoing support.
* Perform functional and regression testing of new application features, system updates, and integrations to ensure high-quality performance.
* Identify and document test cases, execute tests, and report findings to ensure applications meet user requirements and business needs.
* Validate bug fixes and system enhancements prior to deployment in production environments.
* Act as a primary point of contact for 3rd-party vendors, collaborating on system upgrades, issue resolution, and feature development.
* Coordinate with vendors to address application defects, enhancements, and performance improvements.
* Analyse current system performance and recommend improvements to enhance application efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimisation.
* Develop and present solutions to address identified inefficiencies and support business growth.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.
* Conduct training sessions or workshops to improve user proficiency and confidence in using the applications.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in application support or similar role.
* Proven experience supporting enterprise applications, preferably in the financial or lending industry.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical application issues.
* Experience with testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
* Adaptability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Knowledge of mortgage or loan products and their workflow from origination to completion.
* Experience in a regulated industry or financial services.
* Understanding of data and databases.
* Ability to write SQL queries and access data.
* Experience working with APIs, including the ability to read, write, and debug API code to support integrations and troubleshoot issues.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools is a plus.
