A leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, Lloyds British, a Speedy business, has been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services for the lifting services industry for over 200 years. We are looking to recruit a Machinist within our Manufacturing business which designs, manufactures and repairs purpose designed lifting equipment. You will get involved with building new equipment and assist with the refurbishment and assembly of overhauled equipment in the workshop, delivering the highest quality of manufacture and repair, both on time and to budget, in accordance with company guidelines and customer specific targets. What you'll need: Previous relevant work experience Relevant qualifications Proven ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and engineering drawings Fabrication skills would be an advantage Adaptable to changes in the work environment, able to manage own time effectively and prioritise during busy periods High degree of accuracy and thoroughness Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
