Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join Barnsley Council’s Children’s Social Care Team on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties:
* Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries, providing advice, guidance, signposting and support to internal and external customers
* Triage and direct referrals and requests for service received via all channels to the relevant service teams to ensure a timely response and excellent customer service
* Process a range of referrals/ requests for service/applications, applying ‘rules and guidelines’ and confirm outcomes to customers, dealing with all associated incoming and outgoing information
* Input, record, check and maintain a variety of computer and paper-based systems, including bespoke service databases
* Organise and provide support at a range of statutory meetings
* Taking accurate minutes
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working as an Administrator, ideally within a busy Public Sector environment
* Excellent minute taking skills
* Excellent customer service skills
