The Joint Community Rehabilitation service is at the heart of care in the community. Our teams assist older adults after an illness or injury get back to independence in their own home. Working alongside other professionals, you may initially be providing some personal care, helping with therapy exercises, and giving emotional support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.
As a JCR Support Worker, you will be supporting an everchanging group of people across the local community to regain independence, because of this a driving licence and access to a car is needed to meet the travel requirements of the post.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Display a caring and empathetic approach.
- Can adapt to meet the individual needs of our clients.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.
There are permanent contracts available ranging from 6 to 30 hours per week. We also offer 6-30 hour Apprenticeships, 6-24 hour weekend only contracts and 6–24 hour contracts for evening only work.

36 hours per week is available as part of a trial, please speak to the named contact below if you are interested in being part of this.
Please note the role involves working shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
