About the Role: Field Project Engineer
Joining their Northwest-based team, you'll take on the role of an electrically-biased Field Project Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering & Services Director, you'll be responsible for assisting with the design, drawing, regulation-checks and retrofit checks of electrical power systems, electrical switchgears & circuit breakers.
Designing electrical power systems, electrical switchgears, circuit breakers, transformers & control panels.
· Conduct design modifications for existing electrical infrastructure. This is in the form of retrofits, including the replacement of industrial circuit breakers & transformers.
· Conduct design reviews to ensure the accuracy of electrical switchgear systems for both new build & retrofits.
· Happy to work away from home infrequently (for up to weeks at a time).
At least 3 years' experience in an electrically biased engineering role working on switchgear (or similar) equipment.
· NVQ qualified (electrical/electronics) as a minimum.
· Experience working on switchgear electrical design projects
Manufacturing, field service, maintenance, design, product development, quality engineers with an electrical bias working on switchgear equipment. Alternatively, experience in a role akin to process engineering.
· Process Engineers (or similar) from similar industries such as oil & gas, renewables, utilities, manufacturing, power generation IF working on switchgear equipment.
