Overview: We have a 12-month fixed-term contract available to join Gallagher as a Marketing Manager within our Sports Partnership team, playing a pivotal role in achieving our profit and growth objectives. You will be responsible for leading, shaping, and delivering engaging rugby brand experiences that enhance engagement and consideration among prospects and customers. Collaborate with the wider partnerships team to execute the activation calendar for both internal and external audiences.

Gallagher is an Official Partner of World Rugby WXV – the new, three-tier annual global women's competition featuring 18 teams. WXV is revolutionising the women's international rugby landscape, providing a meaningful pathway for all unions and a competitive springboard toward an expanded Rugby World Cup in 2025. Additionally, Gallagher will be the founding partner of the High Performance Academy, a fully immersive development and leadership program established by World Rugby and Gallagher. This initiative aims to increase the prominence of female coaches and other high-performance roles at elite levels of the sport, leaving a lasting impact on the women's game.
We are seeking a highly competent, high-performing, and experienced individual who can fully contribute to the team and deliver outstanding results. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in 360 marketing campaigns, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and a natural flair for marketing. Experience with either a rights holder or brand side within a sports marketing environment is essential. * You will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns from concept to completion in support of our sporting partnerships, predominantly our partnership with World Rugby, but also Gallagher Premiership Rugby and other projects as they arise.
* Ensure that Gallagher’s partnership rights are fully and compliantly utilised in alignment with corporate, divisional and business aims.
* Lead on assigned activations and events involving rugby talent.
* Ensure activations are amplified across all communication channels including social and external communications
* Deliver detailed project plans and event briefs for each activation or event e.g. timeline, venue, supplier, legal obligations, staffing and budgets etc.
* Ensure all activity aligns to our brand and strategic positioning
* Attend events and activations as required

* Be an active member of the Partnerships team
* Work collaboratively across teams such as key business leaders, internal / external communications, Regional Marking Directors, business development, US Partnerships Team and client facing teams.
About you:
* Experience of B2B marketing, within professional services
* Experience of working on a sporting and brand partnerships
* Degree in Marketing or CIM Diploma in Marketing preferred
* Proven experience of working with agencies and external suppliers
* Proven track record of delivering and managing events
