The Role We have a brand new opportunity for a Master Scheduler to join JFD as a senior figure within the planning team, leading by example and always looking for ways to develop and improve processes. You will be the driver of the business Sales, Inventory and Operations planning process (SIOP) and will take ownership of the master schedule, including capacity and resource planning across the company. We are looking for proactive attitude, experience with capacity planning, ERP planning and scheduling, and superb communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a global integrated master schedule for all customer demands and associated internal supply chain activities within the ERP system. Identify and communicate areas of risk or conflict within the schedule and assist operational managers in developing mitigation plans. Coordinate with global planning resources to develop and maintain a common work identification methodology within the ERP system to enable effective reporting. Work with JFD business analysts to develop and implement a master schedule reporting suite to provide business insight to senior management. Monitor global ERP planning status, highlight and address areas for improvement. Train and mentor global planning resources in best practices for ERP use and maintenance. Provide operational knowledge to the Business Systems team to support system upgrades and improvements. Continuously improve scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Proven experience in ERP planning and scheduling within a mixed production environment across multiple sites. Operational knowledge of ERP systems and material planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data to make informed decisions. Solid understanding of common project management practices and the challenges associated with engineer to order contracts. A passion for continuous improvement and developing better ways of working, Lean Six Sigma experience desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels and across international regions. Business and commercial acumen. Previous experience of commercially sensitive projects and the security aspects this entails.
