Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings, including our Adult Day Care and Outreach Support. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Upon joining us, you will be enrolled in a fully funded Level 2 Health and Social care course. You can begin working with us before completing the course and will receive a Level 2 certificate in Health and Social care upon completion.
Pay: £11- £12 per hour.
Duties:
* Provide compassionate support to clients, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Assist with daily activities such as mobility and social engagement.
* Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents and staff.
* Participate in outreach activities, which may include taking residents on community outings or providing companionship.
* Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high standard of care is delivered.
* Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
* Must be a UK resident.
* No prior experience necessary—full training will be provided.
* A compassionate nature and a desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
* Willingness to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents.
* A valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
* Flexibility to work various shifts.
