About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team. Reporting to a HR Business Partner, you will provide generalist HR support and advice across the Totally Group, covering all aspects of HR including absence management, employment legislation, performance, conduct, and grievances.
You will work closely with managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, helping drive a positive, inclusive culture across the organisation.
Your Day to Day...
As An HR Advisor, You Will
1. Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
2. Coach and guide managers on HR policies and procedures, encouraging the use of the self-service HRIS approach.
3. Collaborate effectively with the HR team to deliver exceptional service and meet KPIs/SLA's.
4. Assist HR Business Partners (HRBP’s) on people-related projects, including TUPE, mobilisations, demobilisations of contracts, acquisitions, and change management programmes.
5. Utilise HRIS for performance reporting and drive improvements in service delivery.
6. Support EDI, Health and Wellbeing initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace.
7. Assist in the delivery of training and development programmes to enhance workforce capability.
8. Help manage long-term sick absence cases, including Occupational Health referrals and redeployment scoping.
9. Support managers with performance management processes, including appraisals and performance improvement plans.
10. Promote and apply the principles of CQC, CCG, and company standards to ensure best practices across HR services.
Qualifications, Experience & Training...
1. CIPD Level 5 Qualification or working towards and/or equivalent HR advisory level experience
2. GCSE English & Maths (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent)
3. Evidence of continuous professional development
4. Advanced MS Office skills and experienced, in particular, in the use of the Microsoft packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
5. Understanding of the HR information requirements of a large organisation
6. Experience in working in a fast-paced HR environment at an advisory level
7. Experience of managing employee relations
8. HR technical experience including current employment law
9. Experience in delivering HR training
10. Experience in delivering high quality customer service
11. Experience of delivering HR Projects
12. Knowledge of HR Policy and procedures.
