Although based in England—our primary market—you’ll occasionally travel to Scotland and explore opportunities across the UK to help us continue growing. What you’ll be doing
Developing new partnerships
* Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities, cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and partners—particularly in England, but also across the wider UK luxury hospitality industry.
Bridging the technical and personal
* Use your technical knowledge to understand clients’ needs and translate them into tailored solutions, while always putting people first.
Point of contact & relationship building
* Act as a friendly and knowledgeable face for Armadilla, fostering trust and rapport with both new and existing clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Continuous learning
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually refine our approach and offer innovative solutions.
What we’re looking for
Hospitality experience
* A background in the hospitality sector (3- 5 years experience), with a deep understanding of the industry’s nuances and customer expectations, is ideally preferred.
Technical savvy
* Comfortable with technology and systems related to business development and hospitality accommodations, able to translate technical details into relatable benefits for clients.
Passion for people
* A natural people person with excellent communication skills, empathy, a personable approach, and a genuine interest in building meaningful relationships.
Numerical & Analytical mindset
* Strong comfort with numbers and analytics, capable of interpreting data and using insights to drive decision-making.
Proactive personality
* Ambitious, autonomous, and adaptable to different environments. You excel at dealing effectively with clients of various sizes and have the gravitas to negotiate with large-scope operators in the luxury hospitality industry. You take initiative, work well independently, and bring a proactive approach to every challenge.
Team player
* Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, eager to share ideas and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
Location & Travel
* Based in England: This is a primarily remote role, allowing you to work from home while focusing on expanding our reach in England, our primary market.
* Travel to Scotland: Occasional travel will be required for team meetings, site visits, and client engagements at our Scottish headquarters.
* Further UK Opportunities: While England remains our primary focus, you’ll also be involved in exploring and developing partnerships in other regions across the UK.
Salary
* Base salary £35,000 + Car allowance + Commission
